Yarn Bombing

Jenni Frendo (a.k.a. Yarnifer) is  a rebel with a cause
and devotee of Yarn Bombing – an artistic, creative and contemporary handicraft movement.
Jenni is one of many contemporary yarn bombers making their mark around the Mornington Peninsula.
Weather and exposure impact the art, but then the art threads are "recycled".
Jenni's art currently features outside the Red Hill South Cellar and Pantry.
Details of her work are HERE!

I like this much better than most spray can graffiti, but it will never catch on as it take skill, talent, time and materials to do correctly.

I love the artwork. I imagine that takes a lot of time to learn to do.

This is a colorful and artistic web that covers the trunk nicely. Now if spiders could weave their webs in a rainbow of colors too...

This is super incredible!!!! I love it. But I'm wondering if this will soon lose its luster and color with age/weathering?!! What do you think?

Happy Ruby Tuesday.
