Pig and Whistle...

back in 2010, this is what the outdoors area looked like
at the Pig and Whistle restaurant, Main Ridge...

It was looking a little shabby, but it had potential...
See views of it now HERE...

2017 Australia Day...

Today, 26th January 2017 is Australia Day...
Each year, we join in the celebrations on the Dromana foreshore...
This year, the day was rather grey and cool... strange for a summer's day...
But still the crowds gathered in Dromana from 8:00am...
Above is the little shelter for performers by the stage - featuring a view of Dromana pier...
On the left is a brilliant musician - Andrew Farrell...known as The Wizard...

sky lift details...

yes... 2 days ago I rode in a gondola on the Arthurs Seat Eagle sky lift...
I am still excited about the experience...
(And feeling very brave, as I fear heights...)
The above sign details features of the sky lift...

The sign was on the pylon, tucked just behind the gondola on the left...

confront the fear
and feel the beauty of
scenic rewards

and here is a view of Port Phillip Bay from our gondola...
More views are HERE...
