last stop...

Stony Point is the last station on the short Frankston to Stony Point railway line...
The line ends right by the ocean side of the Mornington Peninsula...

leads to  a wide world

Mornington railway...

sign for what was once Mornington railway station and is now a shopping precinct...
But still a heritage railway runs between Moorooduc and Mornington - not far from this point...

Stony Point Station Shadows

Stony Point station, right by Westernport Bay, framed in winter shadows.
This station is the end of the railway on this side of the Mornington Peninsula.
There is no railway on my Port Phillip Bay side of the peninsula.

Bittern Railway

A view down the track from the tiny Bittern railway station - looking toward the next stop of Hastings on Westernport Bay

Just a small railway
Just a small train treks the lines
Just a scenic place
