Dredge at Frankston Beach

A dredge in Port Phillip Bay just offshore from Frankston beach at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula
The sand, like most beaches along the bay, is slipping away and is being replenished.
Frankston is a popular Port Phillip Bay beach 41 Kms south-east of Melbourne's CBD.
The beach is about 2km long linking north to Seaford beach and south to the rocky headland of Oliver's Hill.
It features a 200m pier popular with fisherman and sightseers.
Kananook Creek, which runs into the bay just north of Frankston Pier, has a concrete boat ramp and boat hire facilities.
The creek runs north around 100m inland from the coast, creating a kilometre long stretch of foreshore that is surrounded by water on 3 sides.

Yes I agree Gemma "ugly drilling contraption" but I guess it's neccesary to do the job in hand!
and perfect for your week-end reflection shot!

Your skies look like ours here in Seattle! And even "ugly drilling contraptions" can furnish a great reflection for the day! Hope you have a lovely weekend -- hopefully with some sunshine!
