Beast Creations

Beast Creations may be a little small, but a feast for the senses awaits.
Right near the entrance from the Nepean Highway to Sorrento's main street on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula, it features the finest Australian glass, jewellery and paintings.
In particular, Mojo Creations work is available here.
(Also available in Queensland, Tasmania, Northern Territory and Dubai.)
Mojo Creations is Jo Wooler.
She designs unique marine sculptures.
In 2009, her "Lion Fish" design was accepted into the National Maritime Museum, Paris, France.
Hers was the only foreign art accepted into the prestigious bi-annual maritime exhibition.

When art becomes wild
Senses face the inner beast
Rollercoaster thrill

Cool Paddleboarding

Even in cooler weather, there is always someone who loves to brave paddleboarding the icy waters of Port Phillip Bay.
These two are near Dromana pier.

Relaxing sport to observe
Some are addicted

Cloud Overlay

Strange overlay of dark cloud moving under white cloud in Dromana

Stern cloud meets white cloud
Like melting darkness and light
Like contrasting thoughts

Shaw McKeown Reserve

Just a street away from my home is this sign in a tiny reserve.
The Shaw McKeown Reserve is really no larger than two suburban blocks, but the sign signifies a great deal.
This reserve was not named until 2011, when Dromana celebrated her 150th anniversary as a gazetted township.

Pioneering souls
Vital threads in our fabric
Our prized heritage

The reserve acknowledges the lives of two of Dromana's pioneering families.

The Red Hill Baker

In the village of Red Hill is this tempting little bakery.
Its speciality is winebread.
Red Hill Baker now has another branch at nearby Balnarring, featuring live jazz on a Sunday afternoon.

Small but enchanting
Like a boutique bakery
Heart of a village
