Plastic Fantasies

A feature at the March Kite Festival on the Rosebud foreshore.
This photo was taken early in the morning before the crowds swarmed in.

Still Diving!

It's Autumn!
And still divers keep diving in the cooler waters at London Bridge Ocean Beach, Portsea.

the air is quite chilled
the waters are getting rough
but divers must dive

A Peninsula Hospital

An old cottage that has now been incorporated into the small Rosebud Hospital complex on the Mornington Peninsula.
Rosebud Hospital is a public hospital which opened in 1961.
It is the only public hospital on the southern end of the penisula.
The rambling Frankston Hospital stands at the gateway to the peninsula.

A small hospital
Yearns to find identity
To find some presence

Bright Tears

Even in the midst of so much rain on my peninsula, there is still beauty.

Tears fall on a rose
Like sunlight shining in rain
Beauty and sadness

A boat shed?

One of the tiniest little boat sheds at Dromana beach
This one is tucked between its "mansion" neighbours

Tiny, cute boat shed
Big enough to store beach chairs
No room for a boat

Flinders Fairytale

Interesting home style at Flinders on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula

More than just a home
Like a gingerbread cottage
Like a fairytale

Old Beauty

I so love old cars.
And the top of Arthurs Seat mountain is a great place to wander on a Sunday to see vintage car clubs gather.

Old design on wheels
A grand piece of artistry
Treasured car shining
