Once, older ones were bathing boxes - early 20th century - and then transformed into boat sheds...
Now they may store kayaks, paddleboards and miscelaneous beach gear...
And these beach boxes can be quite expensive - even without electricity...
One at Dromana beach sold for $330,000 over the recent Easter weekend...

An area has been roped off, but, last Sunday, there was no sign of the seal himself...
Perhaps he was busy out in his watery playground...
The seal has been around since last January...
