The Mornington Peninsula may be a wonderful world of beaches and wineries
but it is also a wonderful place to explore and develop the worlds of arts and crafts and unusual businesses.
Community noticeboards outside village shops are a great place to find the secret treasures of the peninsula.

The one pictured above is outside the Red Hill village General Store.

opportunity
freedom to express yourself
freedom to be free

And as you wander the peninsula world, you may find some amazing art in unexpected places.
The knitting above is outside the Red Hill shops.
Somehow the peninsula world gives you the opportunity to express your inner self.

For many years the state motto of Arkansas was "Land of Opportunity". When the legislature changed the motto to "The Natural State", the joke was told that they had to change the motto because of false advertising laws.

This was a lovely post, Gemma. I found the "tree hugging" knitting to be the living end. I'm big on hugging trees, but to have them in a permanent hug is a dream. Art is so open these days, a chance for self-expression as well as to open the eyes of others... Thanks, Amy

Those tree stockings would make it easier to hug a tree on Earth Day or any day! And the guy in the teepee is just having way too much fun...a good advertising sign.
