Balbirooroo


Creative sign for Balbirooroo wetlands on the Westernport Bay side of the Mornington Peninsula
Taking care of this wetland area is a feature of Balnarring Primary School curriculum.
The wetlands have now been protected for 20 years.
Balbirooroo is a tribal language Koori name for Ibis.
