Outdoor Chess

Outdoor chess board set up at the Boneo Maze and Wetlands, Fingal in the hinterland just outside Rosebud on Port Phillip Bay.

An outdoor chess game
Sheltered well beneath the trees
A shady fun world

Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light somewhere nearby.

I spy draughts and maybe Connect 4 too, looks a lovely place to spend time.

Very interesting!
It would be a great photo even without the shadows, but the shadows add such a peaceful feeling. Peace that would quickly disapper when the game begins!
Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

I love this chess set!! And is that a "connect 4" game in the background?? How fun!

I wonder if this chess setup was made or setup by the squirrels in the park? Even if the pieces were almost at big as the rodents themselves...

I saw a similar chess set when I was visited South Beach .. it was in the pool area of a swanky hotel ...

Would have never thought of putting a chess broad outside. Clever idea. I do not know how to play in or out. Everything has a shadow.
