Waters of The Rip

Entrance to Port Phillip Bay - The Rip - as viewed from Point Nepean on the Mornington Peninsula looking across to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Point Lonsdale lighthouse built in 1902.

Deceptive waters
So blue and gem-like one day
Wild and rough the next

I wish I lived by the water ... I dont count the Hudson River (a stone's throw from my front door) because while it has tides, and beaches, its not swim-able .. or if it is I sure wouldnt .. and it isnt as pretty as your water ..

The sea is indeed very changeable.

Ever changing it is, but always beautiful! Such a great capture, Gemma! And perfect words!
