Pillow Face

For the end of October each year, Mornington Peninsula people create crazy, unusual scarecrows for the annual scarecrow festival in the hinterland.
(The scarecrows become a street feature and it's fun to follow the trail!)
This one at Red Hill decided to hang around a little longer.

Recycled pieces
A pillow, hat and blue jeans
Voila! Weird scarecow

Shadow Shapes

A bike parked at Dromana Hub.
Just like clouds, I find that shadows cast some interesting, even unexpected shapes.
I can see a duck pulling a wire framed buggy trailer.
I think I need another morning coffee.

Boat Signs

An interesting collection of signs on this boat suggesting a few stories.
The "Teri-Lyn" element implies a partnership.
The boat advertises family fishing trips + cooked breakfast. That implies an early morning sail.
But tucked away to the side is a "For Sale" sign.
A bit sad.
Apparently the Teri Lyn is an old boat made of Kauri pine in 1968. Ref: The Bellarine Taste Trail
