I Saw Mother Nature's Home

Shadowy corner of an old house at Tyabb near the Art and Craft Village.
Mother Nature seems to be working on taking possession.
The roof is a bed of leaves and twigs.

And here is the house!
The shadowy corner is tucked away on the right hand side.

And right next door is this house.
Mother Nature seems to be the owner right now.
She has claimed possession of the roof!

I Saw a Strange Flag

Near Dromana pier, I discovered that a special flag had been created for Dromana's 150th anniversary in 2011.
The green and gold are Australia's sporting colours and the stars represent the Southern Cross on our national flag.
And in the left cornwer of the flag you can just see "150"!

Keep the colours waving high

I Saw Wings That Could Not Fly!

Sculpture depicting seagulls on the Frankston foreshore.
There are many odd sculptures like this, all in a tone of green, and scattered around the Frankston foreshore park!

I Saw a Strange House

In my wanders round McCrae last Sunday, I found a strange house with no conventional front entrance.
This is the entrance for guests, suggesting a gang plank to a ship.
McCrae is a village on Port Phillip Bay just south of my Dromana home.

Mother ship welcome
Wander the easy gang plank
My ship is your ship
