Coolart wetlands today...

Today's view of a nesting area for ibises at Coolart wetlands, Somers
and the first day of real sunshine in weeks...
Compared with previous years at this time,
I felt the nesting island seemed smaller and the ibises fewer...
Perhaps all the rain and cool winds have reduced nesting numbers here...

How great to be able to see a flock of ibis. That is a truly exotic bird around here.
