Colourfully decorated seat outside the Ron Roach Gallery at Balnarring.
bright dancing colour
on a dull day
wins a smile or two
a peaceful smile
erasing the senseless gloom
of grey wars

Why, oh why use a boring bench when there are benches like these around? How fun!
Such color brings a smile to our lips!
bright and colorful! :)
Such a cheerful seat. It is just asking for you to sit and dream.
Very inviting me to sit there :)

Brilliant post, Gemma. :-) It made my hear smile. I LOVE the bench photo, but the quote of Peace being a weapon of mass construction really was THE BEST.
Peace blessings to you. x
Excellent message and globe. Well done! Peace to you and yours.
Plenty of smiles for that bench!

What a beautiful graphic. Peace to you! GG
I LOVE "Peace is the weapon of mass construction" from 2008. BRILLIANT!!!!! It should be a bumper sticker.
Love it!
Peace.
Certainly brightens up a chilly rainy afternoon!! :)
Fantastic peace globe! Happy Peace Day, Gemma.
I like that peaceful smile ~ It does chase away the grey &senseless gloom ~
Me too!
"Peace is the weapon of mass construction."
That is excellent.
Peace to you and yours on this and every day.
I want my world to look like this as well....peace to you
"grey" gets a bum wrap here (I like that neutral color) but I do get the metaphor :) Yes, colorful IS peace - tolerant and happy.
Such a pretty bench. I'd do exactly the same thing if I saw something like that - photographh and show it off :)

well said, Gemma :) ~
We should all be allowed to live in peace, enjoying all the beauty around us, as our basic human right.
Beautiful image! It is perfect for the colors of peace.
If only the world could be so colorful...beautiful photo and words.
The colors in that first photograph took my breath away and make my heart leap. Thank you for bringing it to us and thank you for continuing to blog for peace from Australia. Your blog is so beautiful!!
