Seahorse Spirit is the name of the navy's training vessel docked at Stony Point jetty on Westernport Bay.
This walkway leads past the vessel and to the dock for the ferries to French and Phillip Islands.
So much heavy fencing makes it a little difficult to photograph the boat in its entirety.

At last I can leave a comment. Great shot!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
i live in an archipelago where ships are a necessity. i have seen few ones but not as colorful as this. lovely post.
I think you did a good job with the shot in spite of the fencing.
Good looking boat!

That's a big ship!
Looks quite colourful for a training boat.
It must take so long to feel at home of the sea.
I thought you may have recognised the location of my tree!

It is amazing the building of these vessels ... Visiting from Ruby Tuesday!!
Despite the walkway, you got the most important part of the boat: the red!
Brilliant Red Building
always fun to see different locations thru the eyes of someone else - even if fencing is in the way.
