K is for kites...
(Continuing my series on the Mornington Peninsula)
Recently, the Mornington Peninsula celebrated the annual Kite Festival on the Rosebud foreshore on Port Phillip Bay.
The day of the main festival - Sunday - drew huge crowds on a hot day, but there was little wind.
(Fortunately, there were many other attractions for the huge crowd!)
The best viewing of the kites was on the Saturday - when the kite flyers were practising and there were few people.
