Stony Point Station Shadows

Stony Point station, right by Westernport Bay, framed in winter shadows.
This station is the end of the railway on this side of the Mornington Peninsula.
There is no railway on my Port Phillip Bay side of the peninsula.
For Song-Ography prompt - Simon and Garfunkel -  Homeward Bound

-Traveling Wilburys - End of the Line

end of the line
no shouting or whistles
just shadows

Fantastic shadows! And I love how you can literally SEE the "end of the line". Great interpretation of the song. Thank you for linking up, and I hope to see you next week too :)

bet it gets quite busy when the ferry arrives

It is always strange to find that a railway actually ends somewhere...

Beautiful shadows and colors. I can't believe this is a Winter photo! It looks like a perfect day.

That sounds so final Gemma..'the end of the line'. But like all things, there has to be an end somewhere oui ! Lovely shadowy shot..

Nice choice for this week's meme, and your perspective tells a story.

I love the railway station for this link party -- the destination in the song. There's something romantic and picturesque about railway stations and you captured this in your photo!

So cool - don't think I've ever seen the 'end of the line' like that! Accidentally stayed on a subway once until the end of the line...talking too intensely - but that was underground, so you couldn't really see the end of the tracks.

The shadows are great and I like the literal "end of the line" in this shot of this station.

I've never actually seen "the end of the line" before. Nice little train station there.
