NOTE
Just sometimes, the ball game of life does not play fair.
Recent news has hit my Mornington Peninsula hard.

Liam Patrick Davison (29 July 1957 -17 July 2014) is an award-winning Australian novelist.
He was born in Melbourne and lived with his wife and two children at Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, where, until 2007, he taught creative writing at the Chisholm Institute of Technology in Frankston.
Educated at St Bede's College, Melbourne and Melbourne Teacher's College,
Davison was awarded the National Book Council's Banjo Award for Fiction in 1993.
He has been shortlisted for several literary prizes
such as The Age Book of the Year Award and the Victorian Premier's Literary Award.

He and his wife Frankie (teacher at Toorak College on the peninsula)
died on the 17th of July 2014,
victims of the shooting down of Flight MH17 by Ukrainian/Russian rebels???
Frankie and Liam Davison.

Landscape is scenery from a car. You look at it. Riding through it, you feel its contours in your muscles and your lungs. You smell it like the living thing it is...
- extract from Liam Davison's Map for a Vanished Landscape - Griffith Review...

may their souls
feel living peace
