Brooding Skies

Skies over Schnapper Point, Mornington on Port Phillip Bay.
In the distance to the right is a yacht club and a restaurant.

Mustering deep energy
To dump some more rain

Red Style

Looking like a custom made car parked in the main street of Mornington.
I have no idea what model this is.
If anyone has any ideas?

In the shadows...

A melee of shadow shapes round a feature in a little shop at Cranbourne Botanical Gardens.
Once your eyes adjust to all the shadows, you can make out a large dragon fly of metal hovering over the white pebbles, a metal flower shape on the left and a metal bird on the right.

Old Beauty

I so love old cars.
And the top of Arthurs Seat mountain is a great place to wander on a Sunday to see vintage car clubs gather.

More Rainy Skies

After a glimpse of "nearly Spring" skies last week, we are back to rainy, windy grey days.
This is a view of Port Phillip Bay from Dromana beach in between showers of rain.

Sad that a sign such as this one on the Dromana foreshore needs to be posted.

Confused Weather

Between showers, on a cold late Winter's day, I captured this view of Dromana beach.

Split Personality?

The side of a boat shed at Blairgowrie created a colourful palette for a split gathering of shadows!

Hints of Spring

Despite all the rain, touches of gold wattle are lining the roads and appearing in gardens.
Wattle in bloom always suggests that Spring is near.

No Standing With a Difference!

The NO STANDING sign is quite familiar.
But I have never seen such a rusty version of the sign like this one in a Tyabb street.
The sign is attached to a fence style gateway surrounding a home.
And the single wheel thrust through the "fence" seems to add some character - and a question or two.
Could the sign possibly have been "borrowed" on some long term lease?
And I wonder why just one protruding wheel?

Insect Repellent With Punch

This sign is in the little shop at Moonlit Sanctuary Pearcedale.
Does this repellent work?
I don't know?
And the smell?
I didn't like to find out.
I just smiled.
And took a photo.
