Shadowy Fence

Shadows by a boat shed at Safety Beach.
I was intrigued how the Autumn  morning shadows were so much larger than the fence line - invisible on the right but part of the same one appearing in the upper portion of the photo.

shadows may be large
but the limp sun of autumn
means to keep shining

I, too, love it when the shadows seem larger than whatever it is you're taking pictures of!! Great shot for the day, Gemma!!

The fence leaves a bold and stark angular shadow. Yes, autumn up here leaves long shadows as the sun retreats in the opposite direction. The change to cooler temps we can all do without - although autumnal and winter shadows can be long and beautiful!

strong shadows but it's the blue-birds that catch my eye

Nice shot - I also love early morning and late afternoon shadows.
