Even in cooler weather, there is always someone who loves to brave paddleboarding the icy waters of Port Phillip Bay.
These two are near Dromana pier.

Well it's really hot here and that looks like a great way to cool off! Nice shot!
PS. Street cats make me sad too but I don't think the cats in my photo were homeless. You can't see it in the photo but they were behind a gate near a house and they looked well cared for. :)
Nice shot!!
This makes for a wonderful monochrome, I like the reflections off the water.
Looks typical for a July day around here, but I suspect it's a bit 'cooler' down under (it was 96F today, expected to be over 100 tomorrow)
Looks like a man and a woman having a wonderful time of the quiet water. I do not know how they do it. I would be falling off constantly. The pier running through the center of the picture is such an interesting image and the glistening waters beneath look lovely. genie
Looks lovely, quiet and wet and very peaceful. Forgot that it's cool season down there at the moment till you mentioned the 'icy waters'. That makes the photo even more appealing since we are going through a blisteringly hot summer. Nice.
Great shot, love the reflection of the sunlight in the water.
Wonderful view!
Nice B&W post!
Beautiful moment!
:)
They'll be fine as long as they don't fall in hey Gemma! I've started seeing this on the Perth beaches lately too, looks so strange to see standing figures on the sea.
It must be fun, paddleboarding. I never tried that - Gemma, those picture are something. Thank you so much for showing
Nameste ;)
It looks enjoyable as long as the water's calm. I love the light past the pier.
Works well in B&W, Gemma.
