Stony Point Pier

Stony Point pier overlooking Westernport Bay

Muddied, stone pocked sands
Best to observe from a afar
But birds feel beauty

I can see where it gets it's name .... Very stony indeed but it has character.

This is pretty cool - in this scene, the birds are looking a bit forlorn as low tide has set in and any chances of a meal will only reappear when the tide comes back. Cool shot!

Love the blue sky reflected in the wet sand. It's as if birds were wading in sky.

Those stone-pocked sands are great places for shadows to curl up in!
