It does look like a wintery evening and a wonderful shadow shot as always, Gemma! You are so talented when it comes to -- not only photography, but haiku and I always enjoy both! Thank you for sharing!
The parking area is non desrcript, with the shadow adding a bit of character to the wall. However, the light fixture on the roof looks like a stylish mast and rigging of a sailboat. Utility and style do go together quite well here...

Oh, I like this a lot! The partial shadow is much more engaging than a full one would be.
One of many great shadows you find each week.

It's amazing how those shadows lengthen as the sun slips lower in the sky .. well spotted.
It's good to have a lamp with shadow than no lamp at all... :)
You captured it just in time! Perfect shot.
Delicious Shadows, have a blessed Sunday!
Now, THIS shadow is fabulous...I love the shape and the direct lighting surrounding it all. Oh, and love the veranda art post above too.
Cool lamp-even cooler is the shadow it cast!
Your Haiku is perfect with this shot!
