This sign at Rosebud has always amused me!
I must admit, I have never checked out the truth of the matter!
Art of dentistry
Rarely appreciated
Rarely meets a poem
P.S. In response to a few comments about the wording of the sign:
In British English, to cater for a group of people means to provide all the things that they need or want. In American English, you say you cater to a person or group of people... -
In British English, to cater for something means to take it into account. In American English, you say you cater to something...
And Australia uses British English.
So the sign is worded correctly here.

Haha! Best dentist sign ever Gemma, fun catch!
I need to visit this guy. I'm the ultimate dental coward.
I'd rather be sedated" even on regular check-up appointments. (But they won't do it boo hoo.)
What a fun sign!
My dentist is great at catering to cowards (like me). When one needs to have extensive work done, he has a special pair of goggles (like sunglasses) and earphones for the patient to wear. They are hooked up to a DVD player and you can watch any movie from the dentist's library or bring your own. It really does take your mind off the work that's being done in your mouth.
(My sign entry is posted on my Drive-By Photos blog today.)
Funny, really funny. Hmh, can I trust him?
Great find, Gemma!
eye-catching sign.
Gotta love a dentist with a sense of humour!
Funny sign! But I wish it would read, "We cater TO cowards" not FOR cowards. Sounds better. Just saying!
Hiliarious...good catch.
Pat has a good point - catering 'for' does sound a bit odd. But that would be the dentist for me!
a dentist with a sense of humor
great sign
Ha ha, love the sign. The dentist sure has a funny side and I would love to visit his clinic :-)
Safety Begins with Me!
This is a definitely designed for ME!! Love it. Wonder if it helps him to get new patients. genie
Gave me a laugh. I used to have a fear of dentist. Never got over it until my early thirties. Now I wonder what all the fuss was about.
I might check it out; I'm the biggest coward when it comes to going to the dentist :-) Great find!
That's hilarious!
LOL. Now that's quite blunt and direct. At the same time, its honest message is quite appealing. Nervous patients would know that they will be taken care of there.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I posted some funny signs you might find interesting some time back. Here is the link:
