Yellow Metal Monster

A rather dramatic yellow contraption involved in the restructuring of the old Mornington pier (on Port Phillip Bay), so popular with fishermen.

And this one seems to be on standby - perched high on a nearby small pier.
Not quite sure why!

Bold yellow monster
Ugly process of progress
Small necessity

Hi there - I have just returned from the wild, woolly and less that wonderful world of wireless only internet on the other side of the bay - so now I'm catching up.

What a metal monster! I wonder if it is a dredging pump.

Great captures, Gemma and the monster is certainly a lovely shade of chrome yellow.
