The fern looks delicate as it sways gently in the breeze. The shadow, on the other hand, looks as if it may be an aggressive saw blade, ready to cut the unwary. But it is not, so we can safely admire the subject shadow...
I really love ferns. Ours here in Oregon are of course brown by now, but you know what they are still beautiful!
Ferns give a beautiful shadow. It's such a lovely plant.
Very nice contrast. The fern looks lively and delicate, yet its shadow looks like a sharp skeleton.
