This is called Mask by Mike Nicholls and is based on a hand holding a mask.
It is in the form of a protective spirit and explores the theme of identity.
Each autumn, there is a competition at Montalto for a sculpture prize.
Some works are retained as part of the garden features.

When I am traveling, I enjoy discovering those unusual sculptures that are tucked away as a surprise. Very nice ~~
I did not know that Mornington Peninsula was in Australia until today.
