Shadows of Wheels

One of the features of the Westernport Festival parade through the main street of Hastings last Saturday 23.2.13.
It's an annual community parade celebrating the community.
It has been running for 45 years.
This year's theme was community heroes.

Wonderful horseless carriage which looks more than twice the age of the parade itself. Perhaps the horse decided to go to Ikea for the meat balls.

What fun - I've never seen anything like that in real life. I love the clear shadows!

Very cool horseless carriage! In my SOOC comment, I assumed that the vehicle was horse-drawn...this view disproves that theory...cool!

An amazing maze of gear works when you count the shadows.

That's an ancient vehicle--but the shadows are new!

Oh.........I really really like this image!! The shadows are superb, but the ambiance this image brings forth shows a fun, beautiful day of celebrating.
