Riders in the Arthurs Seat mountain, bike ride challenge held on Sunday 29th April 2012 in Dromana.
This is the 2nd year of the event and it is becoming increasingly popular.
There were almost 1000 participants.
Participants in the Arthurs Seat (Bay2Bay) Ride can choose from the long course 113km ride, the shorter 65km option or the family friendly 20 km ride.
Roads are closed to enhance the flow of the ride.

The grueling bike ride is something to behold, the riders in perfect pedaling mode. For ever uphill climb, there is the reward of a downhill. 1000 bicyclists say that this rede of 29 April is a true success!
I so enjoy your photos and your haiku! That is a medium I have never tried, but perhaps I should, since I am trying to learn to say more with fewer words!
It's been years since I last ride a bike, it would be nice to ride again.
Too much work for me! My soul and body would be crying. But kudos to those who can do it.
