It seems that the land is protected from the sea by the massive wall of rocks. Yet a furious sea cannot be protected against too much hence the posts - unless of course, they are merely to park bicycles against. Either way, the posts leave cool shadows!
Such a calm Shadow Shot. It makes me want to hop on a boat and just sit in the water!!
It's as if the shadows from the posts are forming the fence line. You caught this at a perfect time!

That is an amazing photo. It could easily be used as an advertisement to lure people to the area. The beautiful blue of the sky with the mix of fluffy white clouds, the mountains in the background, the deep green of the tree and the ocean with the rock lined shore and the posts standing tall protecting the view. Truly Amazing!

The posts are pointing to each other and making a fence of sorts. Great capture. What a beautiful view. I can sense the air was fresh and sweet all by gazing at this photo. Wonderful.

I have wonderful memories growing up an the MP and going on the Arthurs Seat chairlift. All my children rode it a couple of times before it was closed.
