Dromana Post Office - recently next to St Mark's Church on the Nepean Highway in Dromana - has been re-invented with new faces since being opened in 1858 - almost 20 years before Dromana pier opened in 1872.
But now it has actually been relocated -temporarily, joining the many little shops in the Dromana Hub shopping centre.
In the meantime a 3 storey construction begins on this site. It will house apartments, two shops and a cafe and the post office will be back here at street level with another new face!

a whole lotta history there
Glad they will be moving back!
nice post.
This is the kind of place I like to record by pohotographing before it disappears forever.
At least they are not closing down like so many post offices in the U.S.
I like the reflection you've captured in the windows.

At least the post office is still open during the remodeling, and is nearby!
Australia Post have radically changed the way they operate their business and I am not sure privatisaton has improved the service...
