Many gardens on the Mornington Peninsula present displays of flowers in various recycled objects.
This old wheelbarrow with a flat tyre is an example of just one.

I would definitely like an old wheelbarrow (even with the flat tyre)filled with gorgeous flowers for my garden, pretty as a picture Gemma. What a lovely Sunday morning image.
Nice to visit you when it is snowing here...Michelle
Lovely colorful composition.
Regards and best wishes
Oh Gemma, what beautiful blooms you found! And with lovely shadows to match - who could ask for anything more :)
Have a wonderful week!
Oh, what a beautiful capture for the day, Gemma!! The perfect picture of spring/summer with all the beautiful colors and wonderful sunshine and shadows! Love your composition! It lifts my spirits just to look at this today! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

I like that the tire is flat...so no one can wheel away this barrow of beauty. :)
Gemma,
This is a South Carolina planter alll the way! Great shot and I'm glad you do the same thing Down Under-- ;-)

I wish that was in my backyard!
Two of my favorite things, shadows and wheelbarrows!
Nice set of blooms!
Wondering if that boat made it down to the water yet...
What a great photo, nothing like an old wheelbarrow full of Petunias.
I must say like Rambling: nice to visit you when it is snowing here!
Thank you!
I've done that! My whellbarrow isn't such a vintage one though and I've got a native growing in it that will attract the honeyeaters.
That wheelbarrow's not going anywhere soon with its "pancake" tire!
Lovely shot, Gemma. Good to recycle old wheelbarrows in this way.
That's a beauty, I can't wait till summer.
We had wheelbarrows all our life, but never used for this purpose. This looks very pretty and a great idea.
Our Roma Street Parklands have one similar but more antique, along with annuals weeping out of watering cans and barrels. It's such a cool concept.
