Heronswood in Late Winter

Heronswood in Dromana is a beautiful garden world in all seasons.
In winter, the bonus is being able to photograph the old home more easily because the trees are leafless and don't block the view.
The house was designed in 1866 in the Gothic Revival style.
Granite blocks were quarried from the nearby Arthurs Seat mountain.
The gardens have evolved as cottage and organic gardens.

Time in a garden
Like living close to old worlds
Like breathing Nature

Beautifully structured building Gemma - and as you say easily viewed with the winter trees. I'm sure it would be a picture in spring-time!
