That`s an impressive gate and driveway...lovely delicate shadows. Happy SSS!
I love the shadows and also the way you've processed this photo. Wonderful, Gemma!
Do those gates ever open, or are they locked against all comers?
IF SHADOWS
If shadows could jump,
How high would they go?
As high as the moon?
Does anyone know?
If shadows could weep,
How long would they cry?
As long as it takes
To climb to the sky?
If shadows could laugh
And tell funny jokes
Would you take them home
And say, “Get this, folks!”?
If shadows could wed,
Would they prefer you
Or somebody else
To promise, “I do”?

Shadows on this door and this
Gorgeous Sunday image Gemma, it almost looks like the bottom part of the gate is a reflection of the top.
This place looks like a photographers dream. I can imagine the gardens in Summer. Fantastic!
Peace.
I have visited Herenswood. It has much to offer.
Wowee, you live in an amazing part of Victoria -
I'm having serious seaside envy right now : )
A beautiful composition, I love the play of color, lines and shadows.
Terrific lighting...this really looks mysterious to me. I wonder what lies beyond...
Nice post.
I like the added white vignettes.
Regards!
I really like how you've composed the light and shadow in this photo. Beautiful!!
