Red Hill mural...

I have been trying to photograph this mural for some time.
Often the light is too glary or the shadows too deep or cars are parked in front of it.
Finally, I was lucky recently... and it wasn't raining...
The Red Hill mural is by Mornington Peninsula artist Simon White.
It was completed in June 2015.
The mural is on the Blue Moon Trading Company side wall
next to the popular Epicurean where Simon works part-time as a chef.
The mural depicts the old train approaching what was a railway station at Red Hill.
The line opened in 1912 as a branch from Bittern on the Stony Point line.
It mainly carried fruit such as apples, pears and strawberries to market in Melbourne.
The line closed in 1953.
