The name Rosebud is important here in South Dakota because it is the name of a major Indian Reservation. Interesting that it is also the name of this pier.

I love fishing villages and jetties. I don't fish, I just like the atmosphere.

I often wonder why, when two towns are close together, one is more prosperous than the other. This sign gives a good explanation.
