odd little wagon...

odd little yellow wagon at the 18th Mornington Spring Festival yesterday in the main street...
local foods and wines were for sale in colourful booths along the street...
And there were many stages along the street for musical performers...

little wheels
ready to host and sell
some treasures

These little Italian scooter-trucks are inexpensive to own and operate. This particular one is made by Paiggio, and the model is an Ape (pronounced Ah-pay which means bee in Italian). They can carry quite a bit, up to 1,700 pounds, but not at much speed. In Italy they were made after WW II up until 2013. Now they are made by the Paiggio factory in India. They are mostly used by farmers to carry produce to market.
