Thanks for your comment on my Burleigh Beach post. I was surprised to read what you said about our sand being yellow as up here in QLD it is very white. I went back to my blog post and saw that the sand in the images was in fact yellow. I was quite perplexed as I knew that my original images didn't show yellow sand. I tried to re-upload the images but again, just as the upload was completing, the colours changed. I then realised that it was because I am signed into Blogger via my Google+ account and "Auto-enhance" is turned on by default. I have now re-uploaded the images which show the colours more realistically. If not for your comment, I may not have noticed. Thank you.
I'm looking forward to heading "home" next Thursday to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday and to spend 2 weeks with my parents in Mt Martha.

Lovely reflections on beach and water. Fine light.
We could, of course, use even a hint of rain here in the desert!

Well composed, great reflections.
A perfect post for SWF!
Beautiful… I love the reflections of light playing on the water beneath the heavy clouds!
Nice work.

The light is so pretty! It has been raining here for days and I'm ready for it to stop.
Love the sun shining thru :)
beautiful scene, equally lovely poetry.
Hi Gemma,
It's looking a bit gloomy down there.

Amazing! Love how the sun comes through the clouds!
I like to see rain in the distance that way.
