protect shorebirds...


I like seeing these signs round our peninsula coastline.
Not only do they serve as a warning to respect and care for the area,
but they alert the visitor to bird life.
This sign is at Balnarring Beach on Westernport Bay.
And no. I did not sight a red capped plover.


wave ravaged shoreline
fragile ecosystem
needs survival

I always always read those informational signs. Even if I've seen them many times. It frustrates my husband! But I always feel I'll learn something new from the experts.

It's always a good thing when others show and remind us that nature is only what we do with it!!! Treat it good and we have rewards.
