Quarantine Shadows


This is one of 5 similar 2 storey hospital buildings at the Point Nepean Quarantine Station which was begun in 1854 and opened in 1859.

The site is now just open for the curious wanderer.

The Ticonderoga was a ship from Liverpool, England carrying scores of fever-stricken passengers.
