F is for Frankston...

F is for Frankston
(Continuing my series on the Mornington Peninsula)

Frankston is another community on Port Phillip Bay just north of my Dromana world.
Frankston is well known for its sandcastle displays in the summer/autumn weeks after Christmas.
So this post will mainly focus on views of this special event.

Each year, the sandcastle display is based on a theme.
This display's theme was Toytopia.

Fantasy in sand
More than a sandcastle
Special summer art

The display is set by the foreshore walks, boat ramps and piers, just back from the beach.
