This is a peek through a natural, rocky archway known as London Bridge.
(N.B. There used to be a London Bridge rock formation on the Great Ocean Road too!)
It is on the Westernport Bay side of the peninsula behind Portsea, close to the wild waters of Bass Strait.
The weathered bridge provides wonderful views of the crashing waves beyond.

Interesting place, and some nice photos.
I love these kinds of rocks formations. Your closeup photos with the view of the water are great and it is wonderful to see the view from a distance. Wonderful photos, have a great day!
What a gorgeous place and I, too, love rock formations like this! Love your captures of the surf, the waves! What a great place to spend some time. Perfect words as always, Gemma! Hope you have a great week! Enjoy!

I love the rock formations along the coast. Great Ocean Road was a trip of a lifetime for me. I got to see that London Bridge before it collapsed. Beautiful shots!

What a brilliant photo opportunity: the light and the water just right for this wonderful creation.
What a fabulous place, Gemma. I love it. The photos are all great, but I like the second one best, I think.

A magical place! And lovely photos!
The second photo is nicely framed. At first I thought its the real London Bridge.
We have the London Bridge here in Lake Havasu, Arizona transported piece by piece many few years ago.
I remember well the large London Bridge near Beachport. Isn't it wonderful what water can achieve?
oh, beautiful! so refreshing....thanks for the visit....:)
Arches are always good and these are great Gemma, I really like the second shot with the reflections!
Beautiful pictures of an interesting place.
Wonderful pictures, så beautiful place!
Reminded me of the old nursery rhyme 'London Bridge is falling down' - doesn't look like yours is about to anytime soon, nice rock formation.
As Ebie said, the real London Bridge was transported to Lake Havasu, so they have our old one and we have a new one..!!
