Long early morning shadows and whispers of sea mist grace the sands of Dromana beach.
And the surf rake is already busy clearing and levelling the sands before the weekend!

It seems like a lost cause, trying to shovel and rake the beach sands and any one of any high tide can wreck the best laid plans. Yet, the beach visitors expect perfect sand when they visit. So the officials prep the beach yet again. However, it is a beautiful beach - and nobody likes to step, barefoot, on broken shells...
Always love shots taken on the beach and your lovely words! Wonderful capture and great shadows, Gemma!

What interesting things you see, living along the peninsula! As a desert dweller, I never knew such a thing as a surf rake existed!
Soft, misty tones in this photo. Looks like a wonderful morning:)
Nice shadow shot.
Regards and best wishes
Beautiful 'soft' early morning image Gemma, best time of the morning for this effect.
I love early morning
funny - it's going to be in the 80s here in NJ today, about 20 degrees above normal
guess we're sharing summer for a bit :)
I am always amazed at the idea that you are getting ready for summer and I am getting ready for winter. Great shot of the groomer.
Peace
Nice, subtle shadows. Always something fun about big equipment.
The workers stopped to watch the shadows fall.
