Another unusual feature in the Enchanted Maze Garden at Arthurs Seat.
This metal pyramid with plates and tiled base is an old attraction in the garden, but it has recently been refreshed by giving it a designer space with manicured shrubs on its corners.
A bluest blue sky gives the whole scene a bright beauty.

thanx for posting these photos Gemma, I've always wondered what was hidden in that maze - what a great space this one is
Those plates could be prayers lifted to the heavens!
BLESSED BE THE SKY
Cloudy, clear,
Bright or drear—
Blessed be the sky!
Sun and star,
Near or far—
Blessed be the sky!
Rain or snow,
Sunset glow—
Blessed be the sky!
Wind or calm,
Healing balm—
Blessed be the sky!

Love the little red flag at the top, that's a fun piece of art Gemma, really like the topiary gardens must take a bit of upkeep! Have a great weekend.
Can't help but smile when viewing this! Wonderfully quirky!
Fabulously blue sky, Gemma, and a definitely quirky but interesting corner of the garden.
