Hastings' Pelicans


Hastings is a seaside town on the eastern side of the Mornington Peninsula.
It is well known for the pelicans that wander near the pier, waiting for the return of the fishing boats.

Odd big-beaked sea bird
Like an awkward dinosaur
Like time's heritage

Now those are some lovely pelicans indeed! I wonder if the fishermen throw a few small fish their way....
